At Yudokoro Minori you can enjoy a natural hot spring sourced from Ikeda Yuge Onsen. The spring quality is a sodium bicarbonate spring, known as a 'beauty hot spring' that gently exfoliates the skin. It features a smooth, silky feel on the skin and may help promote circulation, relieve fatigue, and improve sensitivity to cold. Both indoor and outdoor baths use this spring, allowing guests to fully enjoy the benefits of the natural hot spring.
SaunaSAUNA
High-Temperature Sauna
A five-tier tower-structured high-temperature, high-humidity sauna. Sauna stones are placed at the base of a far-infrared gas heater, and a periodic drip-style löyly sprays water roughly every minute, filling the room with moist steam. The constantly circulating heated air creates a setting where you can sweat deeply even at very high temperatures. Equipped with a TV, it is comfortable for long stays.
Finnish Sauna Plus (outdoor area)
A men-only Finnish-style sauna located in the outdoor area. When the sand timer runs out, you pour 1 ladle of aromatic water onto the sauna stones yourself, letting the hinoki (Japanese cypress) aroma fill the room while you steam at your own pace. Pressing a button triggers a fan-operated louver for a re-steaming effect that blasts hot air through the room, offering a unique experience. It can be alternated with the high-temperature sauna, strongly appealing to sauna enthusiasts.
Foot Bath Steam Sauna
A women-only multi-functional steam sauna focused on the feet. In the steam-filled room you simultaneously receive the effects of mud packs, salt scrubs, and mugwort steam, while the bubbler foot bath at your feet dilates capillaries and naturally lowers perceived temperature. The unique four-way synergy guides you toward health and beauty.
Cold BathCOLD BATH
Bubbler Cold Plunge Bath (outdoor)
Uses Gifu's natural groundwater in a continuous flow system. Bubblers help break the thin water film on the skin, further lowering perceived temperature. Located outdoors, it benefits from synergy with the outside air to enhance the quality of cool-downs. The soft water is pleasant, providing a pool that balances invigoration and tranquility.
Cold Plunge Bath
The main very-cold plunge bath designed for post-sauna cooling. Kept at around 12°C, it sharply lowers body temperature the moment the water hits the skin. The depth is sufficient, allowing you to feel heat leave your body in a short time. This pool is ideal for advanced sauners seeking strong cold stimulation.
Cool Water Bath
Set to a mid-cool temperature within the lukewarm-cool range, making it easy to enter even for those who dislike very cold plunges. Longer stays favor parasympathetic activity, gently lowering body heat. Alternating this bath with the cold plunge bath can deliver a deeper totonou experience. Its comfort without overcooling is a defining feature.
