About Kurama Onsen

"Kurama Onsen" is an onsen ryokan and day-use hot spring facility at the foot of Mount Kurama in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. A simple sulfide spring rich in iron flows here, and from the open-air bath on the hill away from the main building, guests can enjoy sweeping natural scenery and beautiful views in every season. The indoor baths include a spacious large bath, a dry sauna, a cold plunge bath, and jet baths. After bathing, guests can relax in the lounge wearing roomwear, dine at a restaurant serving seasonal local ingredients, and even join a meditation plan that lets them fully enjoy nature, all for an exquisite time that refreshes both body and mind.
