"Gondo Onsen Therme DOME" is a day-use natural hot spring facility located in Gondo, the bustling downtown area within walking distance of Nagano Station. You can enjoy a simple spring that rises from 765 m underground, poured as free-flowing source water at an abundant rate of 400 liters per minute. The large bath area features a blasting auto löyly sauna with fierce waves of heat, as well as a groundwater bath with bubbles that allows submersion. The indoor bath area also has a dry sauna with a crisp, high-temperature heat, letting you enjoy two different sauna experiences in one visit.
A simple spring that rises from 765 m underground. With an abundant flow of 400 liters per minute, it is generously poured free-flowing into the spacious large bath. It is colorless and clear, with a mild, smooth feel and no strong character, making it gentle on the skin and suitable for long bathing sessions. After bathing, you feel refreshed, yet pleasantly warmed all the way through.
A dry sauna in the indoor bath area, known for its classic, crisp heat. The humidity is kept relatively low, allowing you to slowly savor a strong, skin-stinging heat. In contrast to the löyly sauna in the large bath area, it offers a quiet and calm sauna experience.
A low-temperature sauna installed in the women's indoor bath area. With a gentle temperature setting, even people who are not good with hot saunas can stay in it comfortably for a long time. It warms you gradually from the core and lets you work up a gentle sweat.
A cold bath located right near the löyly sauna in the large bath area. It uses high-quality groundwater, and the bubbles rising from the bottom constantly stir the water. Thanks to the bubbling effect, the perceived temperature drops, allowing you to cool down your heated body at once after an intense sauna. It is deep enough for submersion, which is permitted.
A cold bath located near the high-temperature dry sauna in the indoor bath area. It also uses groundwater and is characterized by a gentle, soft feel on the skin. Since it has no bubbles, it is ideal when you want to cool down quietly and slowly. The bath is relatively shallow, making it comfortable for a small number of people to use at once.
