The strong alkaline simple spring with a pH of 9.4 gushes from underground at Jizo Pass. It boasts an abundant flow of 355 liters per minute, totaling 500 tons per day, generously filling the largest open-air bath in Nagano Prefecture. The texture of the water is thick and soft, enveloping the skin, and is known for its beautifying effects, leaving the skin smooth after bathing. In the Japanese garden-style open-air bath, you can enjoy the seasonal scenery, such as the spring Rikyubai and autumn Yamamomiji, while spending a blissful time soaking in the water. Although the source temperature is a relatively low 38.1°C, it is heated and is expected to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, sensitivity to cold, and chronic digestive disorders.
