About Bingushi Yusankan

"Bingushi Yusankan" is a day-use natural hot spring facility in Sakaki Town, Hanishina District, Nagano Prefecture. About 10 minutes from the Sakaki IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, it sits atop a small hill and is known for its sweeping panoramic views from the open-air baths, overlooking the Chikuma River and the beautiful streetscape of Sakaki Town. The hot spring is an alkaline simple sulfur spring with a faint sulfur scent. Facilities include an observation open-air bath where you can soak while enjoying the view, as well as unique baths such as a source-fed barrel bath, reclining baths, and a Goemon bath. There is also an observation sauna where you can sweat while looking out at the scenery, a cold plunge bath at a comfortable temperature, a heated pool for aquatic exercise, and a restaurant where you can enjoy local flavors.

Bingushi Onsen

Generously uses high-quality simple sulfur spring water from Kamihirajima Onsen in Sakaki Town. Located atop a small hill, the observation open-air bath and reclining baths offer sweeping panoramic views of the flow of the Chikuma River and the streets of Sakaki. The pleasantly subtle sulfur aroma and the smooth alkaline water envelop the skin, easing daily fatigue and tension. The open-air area also includes a barrel bath where you can enjoy fresh source water straight from the spring.

This cold plunge bath is located inside the main bathing area. It is kept at a moderate cool temperature, allowing you to gently and thoroughly cool down your overheated body after the sauna. With its mild feel on the skin, it is easy for anyone to enter, and after bathing you can fully enjoy refreshing outdoor air bathing and the spectacular view on the spacious observation deck or benches in the open-air area.
