"Shinshu Takamori Onsen" is a day-use hot spring facility in Takamori Town, Shimoina District, Nagano Prefecture. It is also extremely easy to access, about a 4-minute drive from the Chuo Expressway's Zakoji Smart IC. Its greatest appeal is the sweeping panoramic view of the majestic Southern Alps right in front of you. From the open-air bath, you can fully enjoy the seasonal scenery and the silky-smooth simple weak radioactive spring. The authentic high-temperature dry sauna also regularly hosts powerful löyly events. The outdoor area is equipped with a totonoi zone, where you can sink into an infinity chair, feel the cool mountain breeze, and enjoy the ultimate outdoor air bath.
A natural hot spring with alkaline water and a pH of 9.2, prized for its gentle, silky feel that leaves the skin smooth. The highlight is the spacious open-air bath with a spectacular panoramic view of the majestic Southern Alps right in front of you. In addition, both the men's and women's baths have a fully equipped totonoi zone, where you can enjoy the ultimate outdoor air bath in an infinity chair and other seating while feeling the pleasant mountain breeze.
A quiet high-temperature dry sauna surrounded by the mountains of the Southern Alps. In a serene space with no TV or background music by design, the room is kept at a firmly high temperature, filling the air with strong, pleasant heat. In the men's sauna, löyly events are held regularly, letting you enjoy a powerful blast of hot air, along with an exhilarating rush and plenty of sweat.
A well-chilled cold plunge bath equipped in the large bath area. Maintained at an ideal temperature, it cools down your heated body after the sauna with a crisp, refreshing sensation. The water is high quality and pleasant on the skin, helping your body feel thoroughly refreshed.
