About Roten Kobushi no Yu

Hayataro Onsen, Roten Kobushi no Yu, is a day-use natural hot spring facility located inside Komagane Kogen Family Travel Village in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture. In the vast open-air bath area surrounded by nature, there is a spacious wood-deck space, and the facility is fully equipped with two kinds of saunas: the latest barrel sauna and a dry sauna. The highlight is a single-style, ultra-cold open-air cold plunge bath using cool groundwater from the foot of the Central Alps, which is enough to astonish any sauna enthusiast. You can enjoy the refreshing mountain breeze from the Alps on an infinity chair and experience true totonou.

Hot SpringONSEN

Bath

Hayataro Onsen is famous as a beautiful-skin bath and offers an alkaline simple hot spring (heated and circulated, no added water). Its slightly slippery water is excellent for smoothing the skin and is highly effective for recovery from fatigue after sports, outdoor activities, or mountain climbing. The spacious outdoor wood-deck area is lined with many infinity chairs, allowing you to fully enjoy a luxurious outdoor air bath while receiving the mountain breeze flowing down from the Alps.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
