"Kurobe Kanko Hotel" is the most historic hot spring inn in Omachi Onsenkyo, Nagano Prefecture. The large bath features two main bathing areas, Ishi no Yu, which incorporates beautiful serpentinite from the Northern Alps, and Ki no Yu, which is scented with gentle cypress. Its spacious indoor baths, filled with a sense of openness, are the largest in Omachi Onsenkyo. Each bath also has an atmospheric open-air bath. The sauna is a dry sauna called Mori no Sauna, located in the open-air area, where you can warm up gently while surrounded by nature. Right in front of the sauna room is an exceptionally cold cold plunge bath fed by free-flowing spring water from the Northern Alps, delivering an overwhelming cool-down experience found nowhere else.
