"Yunosato Chikuma Hakuchoen" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture. In a beautifully clean space renovated while carrying on a history cherished since the Taisho era, guests can fully enjoy the high-quality skin-beautifying waters of Togura Kamiyamada Onsen, flowing straight from the source. Both the men's and women's baths are equipped with large, authentic Finnish-style saunas, and an aroma löyly service is offered every day, making it highly satisfying for sauna enthusiasts as well. The outdoor rest area, with its superb location overlooking the Chikuma River and the mountains of Shinshu, offers an exceptional open-air bath experience.

Togura Kamiyamada Onsen

Because the spring temperature is a little low, the water is heated before being supplied, but you can still enjoy the exceptional open-air bath that fully lets you savor the area’s signature skin-beautifying waters from Togura Kamiyamada Onsen, flowing straight from the source. This weakly alkaline simple hot spring is extremely gentle on the skin, leaving it smooth and moisturized after bathing. With a magnificent view of the Chikuma River and the mountain ranges of Shinshu right before your eyes, a luxurious bathing experience that soothes the soul is guaranteed.

A Finnish-style sauna featuring a large convection stove (iki). The room temperature is wrapped in pleasant heat. Aroma löyly service is offered by staff every day, allowing guests to experience pleasant perspiration from steam infused with aromatic oils. The spacious interior is modern and filled with the scent of wood, creating a comfortable space where you can quietly sweat while watching TV.

A clean, women-only Finnish-style sauna equipped with a large convection stove. The room temperature is kept pleasantly warm, with heat that feels very gentle on the skin. The daily löyly service fills the space with high-quality aromas and waves of heat, encouraging a slow, deep, and comfortable sweat from within. In the quiet space surrounded by subdued lighting, both body and mind are led into deep relaxation.

A clean, fresh cold plunge bath where plenty of water pours in from the bathtub faucet. It has a crisp chill that quickly and pleasantly cools down your heated body after sauna use. The water feels gentle on the skin and is exceptionally refreshing. Right in front of you is an open-air rest area with a magnificent view of the Chikuma River and beautiful mountains, where you can enjoy the finest outdoor air bath on a totonou chair or bench immediately.

Cold Plunge Bath

Women's

A pleasant cold-water bath for women, constantly overflowing with fresh water. Plenty of water flows in from the faucet, and the touch on the skin is mild and clean. It is ideal for quickly cooling down after the sauna's heat, with a refreshing chill that envelops the whole body. Once you step out of the bath, you can enjoy a luxurious outdoor air bath in the open-air area overlooking the beautiful mountains of Shinshu, while feeling the pleasant breeze.
