About Mizuho Onsen Yurarikan

"Mizuho Onsen Yurarikan" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture. Located on a small hill surrounded by giant grape vineyards, it offers sweeping views from its open-air bath of the magnificent mountain ranges, including Yatsugatake, Utsukushigahara, and even the distant Northern Alps, along with the cityscape of the Ueda Basin. The bath area features a uniquely designed far-infrared dry sauna with stoves installed across the entire back wall, delivering a crisp yet remarkably intense sweating experience. At the attached restaurant, you can also enjoy local craft beer brewed on the premises and the specialty Shinshu soba noodles.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
