About TAOYA Kisoji
"TAOYA Kisoji" is a premium hot spring resort in Nagiso, Kiso District, Nagano Prefecture, operated by Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group. This upscale inn offers an all-inclusive stay, with beer, wine, other drinks, and late-night snacks included in the room rate. The water from Nagiso Onsen is so viscous and smooth, like lotion, that it has long been known as the "silk bath." In one corner of the spacious open-air area, you will find a cottage-style sauna and a cold plunge bath, allowing you to fully enjoy a liberating bathing experience. Away from the noise of everyday life, you can spend an exceptional time relaxing in the silence surrounded by magnificent nature.

A large public bath featuring a dramatic indoor bath carved from a massive stone and a liberating open-air bath overlooking the starry sky. The silky smooth, lotion-like "silk bath" gently envelops your entire body. The soft feel of the alkaline simple hot spring soothes both body and mind.

A large public bath known for its large hinoki indoor bath with the warmth of wood, and a grand garden open-air bath with a waterfall. You can enjoy bathing in a setting that feels united with rich nature. Soaking in the superb natural hot spring with its smooth texture, you can fully enjoy Kiso's seasonal scenery to your heart's content.

A dry sauna in a cottage-style building located in the open-air area. You can work up a good sweat in silence while feeling the rich natural beauty of Kiso. The powerful heat envelops your body and melts away the fatigue of daily life from deep within. A cold plunge bath and an outdoor-rest area are located right outside the sauna room, allowing you to enjoy an exceptional state of totonou experience with the fresh air of nature.

A cold plunge bath installed right next to the sauna room. The refreshing chill that tightens your heated body is deeply satisfying. After getting out of the bath, you can enjoy an open-air rest while feeling the refreshing breeze blowing down from the mountains of Kiso.

Guests with tattoos, body art, tattoo stickers, painting, or similar markings may not use the large public bath. However, tattoos that can be completely covered by two 10 cm x 14 cm cover seals may be allowed to use the large public bath if they wear the designated cover seals. Cover seals are sold at the front desk for 220 yen each, tax included.

- JR Nakatsugawa Station → shuttle bus, about 40 minutes
- JR Nagiso Station → shuttle bus, about 15 minutes
Shuttle service
- Guests staying overnight can use the shuttle bus connecting Nakatsugawa Station and Nagiso Station with the inn (advance reservation required)
- Departs Nakatsugawa Station 14:15 (bus lane No. 4 in front of the station), departs the inn 11:00
- Departs Nagiso Station 16:25 (station rotary), departs the inn 9:50
- Reservations must be made by 18:00 on the day before check-in
