"Hakuba Ryujin Onsen RYOKAN SUI" (formerly Nagomi no Yuyado) is a hot spring ryokan in Kamishiro, Hakuba Village, Kitaazumi District, Nagano Prefecture, boasting one of the largest scales in the Hakuba area. Its signature hot spring is a remarkable brownish-black private source with what is said to be the highest spring output in Hakuba. The water is used as 100% free-flowing spring water with no dilution at all, and this superb skin-beautifying bath has both a mildly alkaline cleansing effect that leaves the skin smooth and a powerful heat-retaining effect that wraps the body in a warm mineral film. The bath area features a rock-built open-air bath where the crisp highland breeze of Hakuba blows through, as well as a spacious indoor bath. A full-fledged dry sauna with the warmth of wood that gently heats the body from deep within, plus a cold plunge bath filled with Hakuba's cool underground water, make totonou moments pure bliss.

A genuine dry sauna with an L-shaped two-tier layout that makes the most of the warmth of wood. The temperature is set relatively high, and the pleasantly dry heat fills the room. It slowly warms the body to the core after sports such as snowboarding, skiing, and mountain climbing, encouraging a refreshing sweat.
A compact cold plunge bath located just next to the sauna room, sized for one person to soak in at their own pace. It uses Hakuba's cool natural underground water, and its crisp, refreshing coldness cools down a body that has been heated to the limit in the sauna.
