"Nagashima Onsen Yuami no Shima" is one of Japan's largest hot spring facilities, located within Nagashima Resort in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. It offers 17 baths for men and women combined, and its greatest attraction is the spectacular open-air baths set in vast natural scenery, modeled after Kurobe Gorge and Oirase Stream. Two types of sauna are available, high-temperature and low-temperature, so you can work up a sweat to suit your preference. The hot spring is an alkaline simple spring known as a beauty bath, and some tubs offer fresh 100% natural flowing spring water. With stone sauna bathing and well-equipped rest areas as well, it is an exceptional resort spa where you can relax and spend the entire day at ease.

A low-temperature sauna with a mild setting that is easy to enter even for those who do not like very hot saunas. It is less likely to feel stuffy, so you can stay in for longer and relax. It gently warms you from the core and lets you spend a calm, relaxing time.
A cold plunge bath located right next to the sauna room. It stays cold enough to quickly tighten your body after heating up in the sauna. The vast open-air area, modeled after a great natural landscape, also has an outdoor air bath space, allowing you to cool down in an open and refreshing environment.
