Tsukuba Onsen Kirari Bettei is a day-use onsen bathhouse in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The sodium chloride spring, which wells up from deep underground, strokes the skin softly, and in one corner outdoors you can enjoy water fed straight from the source, never recirculated. Warm-stone rooms

A warm-stone area centered on a main room filled with radiant heat from a fire kiln, extending to a small cave-like room, a room laid with several kinds of mineral stones and a cooling room to ease the flush. Men and women can spend time here together in the dedicated wear, and simply lying down lets far-infrared heat reach your core as sweat slowly beads up. There are also rooms and a terrace for reading or resting, so you can repeat the cycle of warming up and resting as long as you like.

Salt cave

A quiet room enclosed in rock salt that only women may enter. Mineral-laden heat radiates softly from the salt walls, glowing under dim lighting, and as you lie there even your breathing grows calm. The gentle heat slowly moisturizes the skin, and after you have sweated, your skin feels soft and settled. It is a space for time of your own, cut off from the bustle.
