About Hotel Bestland

"Hotel Bestland" is a bath facility attached to a hotel in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture. The large bath, Mahoroba no Yu Yatatsuru, creates a sense of Japanese elegance with natural Towada stone laid across the entire floor and a mural depicting Mt. Tsukuba. The fully cypress-lined sauna room is home to a TYLO stove made in Sweden, filling the space with gentle heat and the scent of wood. After cooling down in the crisp, cold water bath, you can refresh both body and mind in a clean and comfortable space. It offers a high-quality healing experience for both overnight guests and day-use visitors.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
