About Enoshima Island Spa

Enoshima Island Spa is a resort bathhouse on the island of Enoshima in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its natural onsen, Fujimiyu, rising from deep underground and known for keeping you warm, looks out over the vast sweep of Sagami Bay and Mount Fuji for an overwhelming sense of openness. Fujimiyu

A natural onsen, a sodium chloride strong saline spring, rising from deep underground. It is so good at holding in heat and moisture that it is also called “the bath of heat,” and the warmth lasts long after you get out. From the bath you can take in the vast sweep of Sagami Bay and Mount Fuji, and bathe to your heart’s content while watching the Shonan scenery change through the day.

A natural onsen, a sodium chloride strong saline spring, rising from deep underground. It is so good at holding in heat and moisture that it is also called “the bath of heat,” and the warmth lasts long after you get out. In the proper dry sauna set within the main bathhouse, the strong heat of a convection stove cradling the sauna stones envelops the whole body and draws out a good sweat in a short time. After a moment of turning inward in the quiet room, move on to the crisp, refreshing cold plunge filled with tap water. The cold pulls the flushed body taut, and the swing between hot and cold leads into deep relaxation.
