Fukushima Aizuwakamatsu City

"Aizu Higashiyama Onsen Shosuke no Yado Takinoyu" is a long-established ryokan with more than 140 years of history, standing in the birthplace of Higashiyama Onsen. Right beside the inn, the Yuka River flows past Fushimegafuchi, a natural waterfall known as a scenic spot and power spot in Aizu. From the large public bath and the open-air bath called Takimi no Yu, guests can enjoy bathing while taking in the breathtaking negative ions and the beautiful waterfall up close. The hot spring water is mildly alkaline, with a very smooth, gentle feel on the skin, and is a calcium, sodium, sulfate, and chloride spring. The inn also offers 7 private baths with different atmospheres, as well as rooms with open-air baths. In 2023, a full-fledged private sauna was added to the rooftop private open-air bath Yumezora no Yu, where guests can enjoy the ultimate experience of exclusive hot spring bathing, sauna sessions, and open-air relaxation on the terrace.
