"Mikawawan Hills Hotel" is a spectacular spa hotel in Higashihazu-cho, Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture. Standing near the summit of Mount Mikane, it offers a dramatic panorama of the calm Mikawa Bay, the surrounding islands, and, at night, the sparkling cityscape of Gamagori stretching out below. Both of the gender-swapping observation baths, Tenkei and Shikisai, are equipped with saunas, including a strong convection dry sauna that reaches an astonishingly high temperature, and an infrared sauna that lets you work up a deep sweat.
