"Hida Takayama Onsen Hida Hotel Plaza" is a hot spring hotel in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. On the top floor of the Kita Building, the panoramic bath offers sweeping views of the Alpine peaks and the streetscape of Takayama, while you can soak in the hotel's own hot spring source, Hiten no Yu. In the basement of the East Building, there is a tatami-floored public bath filled with the fragrance of hinoki cypress and a traditional Japanese atmosphere, where you can enjoy a dry sauna and cold plunge bath to your heart's content and totonou. There is also a mist sauna on the top floor. With a heated pool and a wide range of restaurants, it creates a luxurious Takayama getaway.

Hiten no Yu

This bath uses the hotel's own hot spring source, Hiten no Yu, which bubbles up from deep underground. Colorless and clear, with a slight salt content, the hot spring warms the body thoroughly and is excellent for moisturizing and retaining heat. In the open panoramic bath on the 9th floor of the Kita Building, you can enjoy a luxurious soak while gazing at the beautiful Alpine mountain range and the streetscape of Takayama in the clear air. In the tatami bath in the basement of the East Building, you can spend a heartwarming moment soothed by the fragrance of hinoki cypress and the softness of tatami.

A cold plunge bath installed in the basement public bath Koka no Yu. It is ideal for gently cooling down your body after fully warming up in the dry sauna. Filled with clean, clear water, it offers a crisp, refreshing sensation that pleasantly tightens the skin. Its coolness has a soft touch to it as well, calming post-sauna heat and guiding you smoothly into totonou.
