Yuraku

A unique hot spring inn featuring a rock bath and a tub inside the sauna

Fukui Awara City

"Yuraku" is a hot spring ryokan in Awara, Fukui Prefecture, with the refined atmosphere of traditional Japan. The large baths, "Taro no Yu" and "Hanako no Yu," filled with sodium chloride spring water from the inn's own source, switch every night, and at "Kojin no Yu," surrounded by a 500-tsubo Japanese garden, you can enjoy an enchanting open-air bath with a waterfall flowing nearby. The sauna adjoining "Taro no Yu" is an extremely rare "medium-temperature sauna," with a hot spring bath placed right in the center of the sauna room. Like warming up in a foot bath, it gently encourages perspiration in high humidity, offering a uniquely delightful bathing experience unlike any other.
