About Hotel Yagi

"Hotel Yagi" is an all-inclusive onsen ryokan in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture. It offers 24-hour enjoyment of its own natural hot spring, which boasts one of the richest flows in Awara Onsen, in a luxurious completely free-flowing style with no added water—essentially cooling the hot spring with hot spring water itself. Its aromatic sauna, available for both men and women, lets guests enjoy authentic self-löyly with the gentle fragrance of birch and kuro-moji, while the men's bath also features a free-flowing cold plunge bath where ice can be added to adjust the temperature. With exquisite sweets made by a pastry chef, ice-cold draft beer after bathing, and ice cream all included at no extra charge, it is an indulgent adults-only resort at its finest.

Indoor Bath

A large bath fed by the inn's own source, which boasts one of the greatest yields in Awara Onsen. High-temperature and low-temperature hot spring water are skillfully blended, and it is offered in a luxurious completely free-flowing style that maintains a constant temperature using only hot spring water, with no added water at all. The spring quality is a chloride spring with excellent heat-retention effects, also known as the 'hot water of heat,' and it warms you deeply from the core.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
