"Sui Suwako" is a luxurious hot spring inn in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, with only 8 rooms, designed for adults. Its greatest appeal is Wattashizuku, a mixed-gender open-air observation bath on the rooftop. With an infinity-style design that makes the tub seem to blend seamlessly into Lake Suwa, guests can wear the inn-provided bathing attire and share the mystical panoramic view with someone special. Every guest room also comes with a semi-open-air hot spring bath overlooking Lake Suwa, and because each room has an opening window and heating, it stays comfortable even in the depths of winter. The inn also features an irori bar where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine and local sake made with carefully selected local ingredients, allowing you to spend a quiet and refined stay.

Open-Air Observation Bath Wattashizuku

A mixed-gender open-air observation bath located on the rooftop. Designed in an infinity style that beautifully connects the bath with Lake Suwa, it offers an exquisite sense of floating, as if you were adrift on the lake itself. Because guests wear the inn-provided bathing attire that reveals less skin, couples and married pairs can share the mystical scenery and famous hot spring without hesitation. Bathing at dusk, when the lake surface turns golden, is especially beautiful.

In-Room Open-Air Bath

A private semi-open-air bath installed in every one of the 8 guest rooms. While taking in sweeping views of Lake Suwa, you can indulge in the high-quality famous hot spring as many times as you like, without worrying about the time. To ensure comfort even in the windy and cold winter months, each bath is equipped with a large opening window that blocks out the cold and a heating system, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful lake view and warm hot spring comfortably in any season.
