Ryori-yadoYamazaki

A natural onsen overlooking the Echizen coast and offering superb cuisine in a traditional house relocated from Kaga

Fukui Echizen Town

"Ryori-yado Yamazaki" is a small, hidden inn for adults only in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture, limited to just 5 groups per day. Set in an atmospheric wooden traditional house where heavy beams relocated from Kaga still live on, it offers the chance to savor exquisite seafood and Echizen crab, carefully sourced by the chef himself, to your heart's content. From the large public bath filled with 100% natural spring water from Kuriya Onsen (heated), you can take in an uninterrupted view of the Echizen sky and the majestic Sea of Japan right before you, while enjoying superb bathing at any time of day or night, gazing at the sunset sinking into the sea and the fishing fires lined up along the horizon. Guest rooms with private onsen baths are also available, making this a luxurious ryori-yado that promises a quiet, soothing stay accompanied by the sound of the waves.
