"Ikaho Onsen Hotel Kogure" is a long-established ryokan with a proud history dating back to the Tensho era. It holds about one quarter of the total flow of Ikaho's precious Golden Hot Spring, and boasts an overwhelming volume of water exceeding 1,000 liters per minute. In the 1,300-tsubo bath complex, one of the largest in northern Kanto, there are Sennraku, with its charming garden open-air bath, and Sennyu, with its beautiful stone pillars, and guests can tour 26 varied baths in a women-and-men alternating schedule. Each large public bath is equipped with a superb auto löyly sauna and an open-air cold plunge bath.

The bath tubs are 1 meter deep, and you can enjoy the famous standing bath, where you can experience the buoyancy of the water and promote blood circulation throughout the body at the same time, as well as the reclining bath with a view of the mountain ranges, the seated bath where you can sink in comfortably, and the garden open-air Kannon bath, among 11 unique bath types in total.

A bath complex proud of its wild and natural atmosphere, with a dynamic rock open-air bath created using large natural rocks without stint, and the Stone Stair Bath surrounded by beautiful cut stone pillars. In addition to the completely free-flowing Golden Hot Spring, which wraps the skin gently and warms you to the core, you can tour and enjoy 10 varied beauty baths, including the Silky Bath, where fine bubbles make the skin smooth, and the bubble bath.

A new-style Water Ceremony Sauna installed in the Sennyu large public bath, featuring beautiful light-and-water effects. Here too, once every 10-odd minutes, auto löyly (hot-air convection) takes place together with the lighting effects, and the pleasant heat of the water vapor helps enhance skin moisture and beauty benefits. While the temperature design is relatively gentle and mild, löyly supports perspiration well, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable sauna session.

A cold plunge bath prepared in the open-air area of the Sennyu garden open-air bath. It is also filled with high-quality cold water made from boiled spring water rich in minerals, and it has no chlorine smell, making it extremely gentle. It cools down your heated body after the sauna in a crisp, refreshing way. Right in front of the cold plunge bath, there are chairs and benches for a pleasant outdoor air bath, allowing you to fully enjoy an utterly luxurious open-air alternating bath cycle while feeling the clear mountain breeze of Joshu.
