From the top-floor observatory baths, Shiratama no Yu and Mayudama no Yu, you can take in panoramic vistas of the majestic Joshu mountains, including Mt. Hot Spring & Bath Information

Large Public Bath Shiratama no Yu

TypeNatural Hot Spring

An observatory large public bath located on the top floor at an elevation of 800 meters, famous for its overwhelming panoramic views. The water contains metasilicic acid, a skin-beautifying component, and uses Ikaho’s new spring, Shiragane no Yu, which leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. From the adjoining panoramic open-air bath, you can enjoy dynamic views of the mountain ranges of Joshu, including Mt. Akagi and the Nikko mountain range, for a luxurious hot spring experience that feels almost as if you were floating in the sky.

Large Public Bath Mayudama no Yu

TypeNatural Hot Spring

An observatory large public bath distinguished by its large windows that create a sense of openness. It is also filled with Shiragane no Yu, which is rich in metasilicic acid, is gentle on the body, and warms you deeply without making you feel overheated. It is equipped with a charming mountain-side open-air bath made with Kiso sawara cedar, and you can leisurely enjoy long soaks while feeling Ikaho’s changing seasons up close, from the fresh green of spring and the cool breezes of summer to the blazing leaves of autumn and the quiet snow-viewing bath of winter.

Private Bath Nagamine / Monomi

TypeArtificial Hot Spring

Two newly installed private baths where families, couples, or solo guests can spend time in privacy. Nagamine features a cute round ceramic tub, while Monomi has a warm, square design with tilework inspired by Japanese cypress. These baths use heated water rather than natural hot spring water, but they are ideal for family time away from prying eyes, making them perfect for trips with small children or for anyone who wants to quietly unwind.
