About Yufuin Gettouan

Yufuin Gettouan is located in a quiet forest away from the bustle of Yufuin in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture. On a sprawling 10,000-tsubo site, only 18 detached guest rooms are scattered throughout the grounds, and every room comes with a private open-air bath fed directly from the source. From the large public bath, guests can also take in a magnificent view of Mount Yufu, and at night they can enjoy a blissful soak beneath a sky full of stars. The spring water is a gentle simple hot spring, and this renowned bath can be savored to the fullest thanks to its abundant flow. The main building, relocated from a 300-year-old traditional house, and the suspension bridge that crosses while you listen to the murmur of the river create an elegant stay where you can feel the atmosphere of Japan with all five senses.
