About Yufuin Hanayoshi

"Yufuin Hanayoshi" is a hot spring inn in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture. Located on a hill, it offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in Yufuin, with Mount Yufu seen from the open-air bath in the large public bath. Especially in the early morning, the sight of the morning mist gradually clearing over the basin is breathtaking. Its spring water is a simple hot spring with a high alkalinity of pH 9.2, and it is cherished as a skin-beautifying bath for its silky texture. Many of the rooms, centered around detached cottages, are equipped with their own open-air baths, allowing guests to enjoy the famous waters and spectacular scenery to their heart's content in a private setting.

Makoto no Yu, Megumi no Yu (Large Public Bath)

A large public bath with a spectacular view, directly facing the majestic Mount Yufu. The water, with its high alkalinity of pH 9.2, is known for its silky, smooth texture and is famed as a skin-beautifying bath that helps remove dead skin cells and leaves skin feeling refreshed. In the open-air bath, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the famous peak, which changes with the seasons, while feeling the pleasant breeze. The women's large public bath also features a jacuzzi, further enhancing the relaxing effect.

Private Open-Air Bath in Guest Room

A private open-air bath provided in each guest room, mainly in the detached cottages. This luxurious setup lets you enjoy the famous waters whenever and for as long as you like, without being disturbed by anyone. In some rooms, you can even soak in the tub while taking in a spectacular view of Mount Yufu all to yourself. The gently viscous water softly envelops your body, offering a blissful time that soothes both body and mind.
