About Yufuin Sansuikan

"Yufuin Sansuikan" is a long-established hot spring inn in Yufu, Oita Prefecture, founded in 1911. It is also known as the inn that first introduced all-inclusive stays in Yufuin. Its greatest pride is the observation sauna, where you can take in a sweeping view of Mount Yufu through its large windows. The pleasant heat from the far-infrared stove and the luxurious cold plunge bath, filled with natural spring water from Unagi Hime Shrine, lead you to a blissful state of totonou. You can also enjoy the changing scenery of the seasons from the open-air baths and indoor baths, and with the attentive hospitality that only a long-established inn can offer, you can deeply relax both body and mind.

Hot SpringONSEN

Yufu-no-Yu / Asagiri-no-Yu

A historic natural hot spring that has continuously gushed since the Meiji era. Its gently alkaline water is beloved as a beauty bath, leaving the skin smooth and refined. At Yufu-no-Yu on the first floor, you can enjoy a garden open-air bath, while at Asagiri-no-Yu on the second floor, you can soak in an observation open-air bath overlooking Mount Yufu, allowing you to enjoy hot spring bathing in distinct spaces with different atmospheres. The after-bath feeling of moisture on the skin and the lasting warmth from deep within are especially appealing.

An observation sauna with outstanding openness, where you can gaze out at the majestic form of Mount Yufu through the large windows. The far-infrared stove gently warms you from the core and encourages a pleasant sweat. Soft music plays inside, letting you spend a luxurious moment facing yourself while taking in the spectacular view. It is installed in Asagirinoyu, which operates on a mixed-use rotation basis, so both men and women can enjoy this view depending on the time of day.

A cold plunge bath lavishly filled with natural spring water that bubbles up from Unagi Hime Shrine. The water quality is astonishingly soft, with a smooth, mellow feel that seems to cling to the skin.
