The main building's large bath is associated with the Western-style painter Sozo Wada. You can enjoy the famed hot spring, boasting more than 200 years of history, with a continuously flowing natural free-flowing spring water source. The clear hot spring water is characterized by a subtle sulfur scent and a mellow salty taste, and through the windows it reflects the beautiful mountain ranges of Matsukawa Gorge.
