Kairakuen

A signature inn where you can enjoy fishing from your room, with a seawater hot spring open-air bath that rejuvenates both body and mind

Mie Toba City

"Kaisan Ryotei Kairakuen" is a pure Japanese-style ryokan in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, that seems to float above the sea. Its signature "zashiki-tsuri," where guests can enjoy fishing directly from the window side of their room, is especially well known. The large public bath is filled with the smooth, alkaline simple spring water of the famous Shinmisato Onsen. The open-air bath features a rare "seawater hot spring open-air bath" that combines Shinmisato Onsen with fresh seawater drawn from the sea just outside, creating strong buoyancy and excellent warming and relaxation effects. Guests can enjoy a luxurious thalassotherapy experience while feeling the sea breeze.
