HishinoOnsenTokiwakan

A breathtaking onsen above the clouds and an exceptional wood-fired sauna in the forest, reached by a dedicated mountain train

Nagano Komoro City

"Hishino Onsen Tokiwakan" is an onsen inn at the foot of Mt. Asama in Komoro, Nagano Prefecture. Its signature attraction is "Kumo no Suke," a scenic open-air bath at an elevation of 1,000 m, reached by a dedicated mountain train from the main building. The newly renovated cloud-top hot spring facility "Unjō no Teishaba," opened in August 2024, features an infinity open-air bath that blends into the sky and forest, a cold plunge bath fed by the Asama water system, and the fully reservation-only outdoor wood-fired sauna "TOJIBA (Yujiba)." It offers the ultimate healing bath experience where you can forget everyday life and become one with the sweeping panorama.
