Enjoy the Three Great Hot Springs of Oshu and a fulfilling sauna experience with all-inclusive comfort
"TAOYA Akiu" is a hot spring resort hotel in Akiu Onsen in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. While carrying on the tradition and dignity of the long-established Iwanumaya inn, it offers an elegant stay in a luxurious all-inclusive style. Its skin-friendly natural hot spring, a sodium-calcium chloride spring, can be enjoyed in two distinctive large public baths: Kaze no Ne, built entirely of wood, and Taki no Ne, built of stone. Each bath area is equipped with a dry sauna, cold plunge bath, and open-air bath where you can feel the natural beauty of the four seasons, creating a blissful time that gently loosens both body and mind. After bathing, you can unwind in the fireplace lounge with a free drink in hand, enjoying a relaxing experience that helps you forget the everyday.

A large public bath built entirely of wood where you can enjoy Akiu Onsen, one of the famous Three Great Hot Springs of Oshu. The sodium-calcium chloride spring, with its gentle feel and smooth texture, slowly soothes sensitivity to cold and everyday fatigue. In the attached open-air bath, you can fully enjoy a luxurious bath while feeling Akiu's nature on your skin.

Another quiet and calming large public bath featuring abundant stone elements. Immerse yourself at your own pace in the soft, heat-retaining natural hot spring and let the tension in your body and mind melt away. In the open-air bath, you can sink into the finest relaxation while surrounded by trees swaying in the breeze and fresh, clean air.

A dry sauna attached to the large public bath Kaze no Ne, which is built entirely of wood and has a stately atmosphere. In the calm interior with the scent of wood in the air, powerful heat envelops your whole body. As you work up a good sweat, you can escape the noise of everyday life and sink into a deep sense of immersion.

A dry sauna set within Taki no Ne, a serene space richly finished with stone. In the clean, spacious interior, you can enjoy a refreshing sweating experience while being surrounded by dry heat. It warms a body that has already been heated by the hot spring even more deeply from within.
