About KKR Minakami Suimeiso

"KKR Minakami Suimeiso" is a natural hot spring inn located in Minakami Town, Tone District, Gunma Prefecture, standing along the valley stream of the upper Tone River. From the guest rooms and the spacious large public bath, you can take in sweeping views of the clear flow of the Tone River and the mountains that change with the seasons. The newly added barrel sauna in front of the men's and women's open-air baths is set at a mild, low temperature that is gentle on the body, allowing you to work up a deep sweat while gazing at the Tone River through the window. Outdoors, there is also an open-air cold plunge bath and a fresh-air rest area. In addition, there is a free private family bath where water overflows dramatically, letting you fully enjoy a private hot spring atmosphere embraced by nature.

Large Public Bath Indoor Bath

A spacious and open large public bath filled with light streaming in through large glass windows. The hot spring uses mildly alkaline simple spring water drawn from Yunohiso Onsen, with a smooth, gentle feel on the skin. From the bath, you can leisurely admire the beautiful flow of the Tone River and the sight of trains running on the Joetsu Line, enjoying a tranquil soak that feels almost as if you were floating in nature. This is a gentle, non-irritating hot spring that is kind to the skin and helps ease both body and mind from deep within.

Open-Air Bath

A compact yet atmospheric open-air bath where the murmur of the Tone River can be heard right beside you. Its greatest appeal is the chance to fully enjoy the natural hot spring while directly sensing the crisp air of Okutone and the beautifully changing faces of the mountains throughout the seasons with all five senses. Sink into the silky water that quietly overflows from the rim of the tub, and everyday fatigue will be washed away, letting you relax endlessly in the serene silence of Minakami's great natural surroundings.

Family Bath

A free private family bath where families and loved ones can enjoy the hot spring in complete privacy. It can be used freely by locking the door from the inside, and the compact tub overflows luxuriously with water. You can feel the freshness of the hot spring water up close, and since a baby bath is also provided, families with small children can enjoy the famous waters at their own pace without worrying about those around them.
