Kūkū Yūen is a panoramic open-air bath crowning the rooftop of a 35-meter-tall building. With alternating use for men and women by time slot, it is famous for its overwhelming panoramic views on a grand scale, overlooking the silhouette of Izu Oshima floating in Sagami Bay. The Kitagawa Onsen spring water is used as a free-flowing bath while adjusting the water volume and temperature. On nights with a full moon, you can bathe in an extraordinary setting, feeling the moonlit path shimmering beautifully on the sea and the sunrise rising from the horizon all over your body as the sea and sky seem to merge into one.

Located on the 11th and top floor, this indoor large bath lets you enjoy beautiful views of the vast ocean stretching out before you. The sodium chloride spring has excellent heat-retention properties, warming your body to the core and helping you stay warm long after bathing. The washing area is spacious and easy to use, with partitions provided for comfort, so you can spend a soothing hot spring moment easing away the tiredness of your trip while gazing at the sparkle of the sea and the gentle movement of the waves.
