A spacious L-shaped, two-tier dry sauna tucked deep inside the large public bath. The room is maintained at around 85 degrees Celsius, and while the heat is mild, the balance with humidity is excellent, allowing you to work up a generous sweat comfortably and gradually without feeling stifled. With a smooth flow from the sauna to the cold water bath and then to the open-air area overlooking nature, it is easy to enjoy a pleasant hot-and-cold alternating bath experience.

A smooth, gently textured cold water bath using natural water, located right in front of the sauna room. Set at a mild temperature that is not too cold, it allows even sauna beginners and those who are not fond of very cold cold water baths to cool down comfortably and gradually with minimal strain on the body. Enjoying fresh air on the totonou chairs in the open-air area while feeling the refreshing forest breeze of Kitayuzawa is superb.
