About Fujiya Hotel
"Fujiya Hotel" is a hotel in Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture. Opened in 1878 as Japan's first full-scale resort hotel, it is one of Japan's most prestigious classic hotels. At the bathhouse called "SPA" on the top floor of the Forest Wing, guests can enjoy the famous Miyanoshita Onsen in the indoor bath and semi-open-air bath while taking in the majestic ridgelines of the outer Hakone mountains. It also features a genuine dry sauna with a pleasant woody aroma and a ceramic jar-shaped cold plunge bath. Cold Plunge Bath
A ceramic jar-shaped cold plunge bath installed right next to the sauna room. Designed for one person, it offers a private-style cooldown. It gently cools down your heated body, and you can easily move to the nearby outdoor air bath area. Together with outdoor bathing while looking out at the mountains of Hakone, it leads you into blissful relaxation.
