About Fujiya Hotel
Fujiya Hotel stands in Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture. Opened in 1878 as Japan’s first full-fledged resort hotel, it is one of the country’s most distinguished classic hotels. At SPA, the baths on the top floor of the Forest Wing, you can soak in the celebrated waters of Miyanoshita Onsen in an indoor bath and a semi-open-air bath that look out over the sweeping ridgeline of Hakone’s outer crater rim. There is also a proper dry sauna filled with the pleasant scent of wood, along with a ceramic urn-shaped cold plunge.
