"Ginzan Onsen Senkyo-no-Yado Ginzanso" is a charming hot spring ryokan in Obanazawa, Yamagata Prefecture. The gentle sulfur-sodium-chloride-sulfate spring water warms a chilled body slowly and deeply from within. In the large communal bath, "Hosen no Yu," the indoor bath offers sweeping seasonal views through large windows, and it is connected to an open-air bath where the murmuring river and breeze create a soothing atmosphere, allowing you to move from one to the other without getting out of the water. One level below, there is Tohoku's only reclining open-air bath with a perfectly angled slope, where you can lie back and enjoy blissful moments surrounded by nature.

A gentle sulfur-rich hot spring you can fully enjoy in the large communal bath, "Hosen no Yu." It is excellent for warming the body deeply and retaining heat, helping to soothe sensitivity to cold and everyday fatigue. There is a spacious indoor bath with views of fresh greenery or snowy scenery through large windows, and an open, airy open-air bath where you can hear the river flowing nearby. The layout lets you move into the open-air area while staying in the tub. In the reclining open-air bath with its perfectly angled slope, you can lie back facing nature and enjoy a luxurious bathing experience.
