About Akazawa Day-Trip Onsen
Akazawa Day-Trip Onsen is a bathhouse for day visitors in Ito, Shizuoka. Its greatest draw is the large infinity open-air bath, overwhelmingly open, where the surface of the water seems to run straight into the horizon of the Pacific. You can sink into natural onsen water, a chloride spring that holds its heat well, and take in a vast panorama of sky and sea. There is also a sauna walled entirely in glass with views of the ocean, as well as a spot for cooling off in the open air with a sea breeze and a spectacular view. After bathing, you can spend the whole day at ease in the Umi no Nekorobi Lounge, stocked with some 6,000 manga, or in the restaurant.
