"Kyukamura Retreat Azumino Hotel" is a hot spring hotel in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture. It stands in the Hotaka Onsen area, surrounded by red pine forests at the foot of the Northern Alps. The waters drawn from two springs in the Nakabusa Valley are alkaline simple hot spring water, and are known as a beauty bath with little irritation and a gentle feel on the skin. The large public bath faces nature through wide windows, and the open-air bath surrounded by rocks offers a refreshing sense of openness. Guests can enjoy bathing with birdsong in the morning and a star-filled sky at night. The bath area has saunas for both men and women. All 30 guest rooms are Japanese-Western style, and the premium floor also offers spacious rooms with a guest-only salon and terrace. With seasonal Shinshu kaiseki, a fireplace lounge, and hands-on programs, this is an inn where the stay itself becomes the destination.

A natural hot spring in the Hotaka Onsen area, drawn from two springs in the Nakabusa Valley at an elevation of 1,450 m. The spring quality is alkaline simple hot spring water, and it is also known as a beauty bath because it is gentle on the skin and not very刺激ive. The indoor bath faces large windows that reflect the nature outside, and if you relax in the tub filled with soft light, the fatigue of travel slowly melts away. The open-air bath connected to the same bathing area is surrounded by rocks and has an open, spacious feel, letting you wake up refreshed to birdsong in the morning and enjoy a magical time at night with starry skies and rising steam. There is also a chatting space within the bathing area, making time spent talking while soaking in the water especially pleasant.

A sauna attached to the hot spring large public bath. It is available in both the men's and women's bath areas, so you can alternate between the bath and the sauna in either one. It can be used late into the night until around midnight, and from early in the morning as well, making it ideal both for working up a good sweat before bed and for starting the day with an invigorating morning session. As this inn is wrapped in the quiet at the foot of the Northern Alps, the entire building has a calm atmosphere, allowing you to warm yourself at your own pace without being rushed and to linger in the afterglow until the sweat cools.
