About Yukyo no Hibiki Yusai

Yukyo no Hibiki Yusai is an onsen inn in Minamioguni, Kumamoto Prefecture. It sits along a lush green valley in Kurokawa Onsen, and within the inn you can make your way around seven different baths. The main bathhouse Mahoroba-no-Yu brings together an indoor bath set against a dreamlike illuminated bamboo grove, a beautifully symmetrical hinoki bath, and a semi-open-air bath overlooking a waterfall at the headwaters of the Chikugo River. In the other main bathhouse, Yawaragi-no-Yu, you can bathe while gazing at trees that change with the seasons. The main bathhouses and private baths are filled with natural chloride-sulfate spring water fed straight from the source, never recirculated, so each bath offers a different view and a different feel of the water. With private baths, rooms with their own open-air bath and a rooftop terrace beneath a sky full of stars, the inn promises relaxation far removed from everyday life.
