Jan 17–18, 2026 Kyoto's Public Bath and Sauna Tour

For me, the purpose of going to Kyoto is not to visit temples, stroll through the streets, or study history. It's for the saunas and hot springs. This time, I will enjoy a tour of modern saunas and Showa-era public baths in Kyoto. I also visited a facility that was a filming location for the drama 'Sauna Road.' My whirlwind two-day trip to Kyoto is about to begin.
