The source that rises from 1,200 meters under Sagano is high in iron content, producing a characteristic brown color when the water oxidizes on contact with oxygen. It is noted for hematopoietic effects and is recommended for those with anemia. Soaking in this famous spring under the blue Sagano sky offers an exceptional experience not found in other baths.

An outdoor bath made clearer by removing iron from the same source, featuring a clean appearance and a soft feel. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays it transforms into a high-concentration carbonated spring, whose carbon dioxide widens capillaries and promotes circulation, making it very popular as the "heart bath".
