About Yokosuka Onsen Yuranosato

"Yokosuka Onsen Yuranosato" is a day-use hot spring facility in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Its biggest appeal is the open location right in front of Tokyo Bay, and the natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source offers exceptional heat retention, earning it the nickname "Netsu no Yu," or "Hot Water." The high-temperature sauna, which promotes deep sweating with far-infrared heat, and the salt sauna, which leaves the skin feeling smooth, are complemented by a cold plunge bath after sauna use and outdoor air bathing in the sea breeze, creating an exquisite sense of relaxation. The facility also features a variety of bedrock baths and a private terrace with an ocean view, allowing guests to refresh both body and mind while feeling the sea all day long.

In the open-air area, there are baths where you can enjoy water flowing directly from the source and baths that offer a view as if you are one with the sea. The indoor baths also include a high-concentration carbonated spring that promotes blood circulation, allowing you to enjoy spectacular views and a diverse bathing experience all at once.

Salt Sauna

A salt sauna where you can warm up while gently caring for your skin using the installed massage salt. By slowly sweating while rubbing the salt into your body, old dead skin cells and waste products are removed, and after bathing you can feel surprisingly smooth, soft skin. With a milder quality of heat than the high-temperature sauna, it is the perfect soothing space for times when you want to relax slowly while minimizing strain on the body.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
