Ochiairo

Enjoy hot springs and authentic saunas at a cultural property ryokan

Shizuoka Izu City

"Ochiairo" is a long-established ryokan in Amagiyugashima Onsen in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, founded in 1874. Its historic buildings, designated as nationally registered tangible cultural properties, are beautifully combined with authentic sauna facilities. It features three distinctive saunas: a tea room-inspired sauna, a star sauna under a sky full of stars, and a tengu sauna attached to the mixed-gender thermal spring where swimwear is required. With a cold bath using natural water from the Kano River and a free-flowing sulfate spring known as the Beauty Bath, it promises a level of relaxation you can only experience here.
