Because the salt layer helps retain heat, the warmth lasts long after you leave the bath. In addition to the spacious indoor large public bath, it features a soothing bubble bath with fine bubbles and a striking rock-built open-air bath with an excellent atmosphere, where a panorama of lush Mt. Sarukurayama and the beautiful, majestic Jintsukyo Gorge spreads out before you.

Sazanka-no-Yu Large Public Bath and Open-Air Bath

The other large public bath, Sazanka-no-Yu, alternates daily between men and women. Here, you can enjoy the warmth of an alkaline chloride spring that leaves the skin smooth and moisturized the moment you soak in it. The open and spacious indoor large public bath offers sweeping views of the Tateyama mountain range and the scenic beauty of the satoyama landscape through its vast windows, and it is equipped with a massage bath (jet bath). In addition, there is an adjoining open-air bath where you can feel the clear air directly on your skin, allowing you to enjoy a bathing experience as if embraced by nature.

A powerful convection-style high-temperature dry sauna where intense heat stimulates the body. It has two tiers of benches and can reach nearly 100°C, making it exceptionally powerful. The heat circulates thoroughly, promoting heavy sweating from deep within the skin in a short time. The sauna mat laid out in front of the sauna room is comfortable, creating a heat-filled space where you can wash away everyday fatigue all at once with your sweat.
