Enjoy three large baths that evoke the spirit of a long-established ryokan, along with an authentic auto löyly sauna

Hokkaido Sapporo City

"Hana Momiji" is a long-established onsen ryokan in Jozankei Onsen, Minami Ward, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Its atmosphere, full of traditional Japanese charm, is harmonized with modern comfort. Guests can enjoy gentle natural hot spring water blended from three sources, including the famed Shikanoyu Spring, in the Momiji-yu bath overlooking a Japanese garden and in three private baths. In addition, the large public bath at the main building, Shikanoyu, which is connected by a passageway, is also available. There you will find the authentic sauna Shikanoyu no Mushi, equipped with an iki stove, as well as a flowing cold plunge bath using stream water from the source of the Toyohira River, allowing you to experience an exceptional totonou moment.

Hot Spring & Bath Information

Momiji-yu

TypeNatural Hot Spring

A spacious large public bath on the second floor of Hana Momiji, filled with the atmosphere of a Japanese garden. It luxuriously blends water from three sources, including the famed Shikanoyu Spring, and is characterized by colorless, clear, soft water that is gentle on the skin. Because the saline hot spring wraps the skin like a veil and helps prevent sweat from evaporating, it warms you to the core and leaves your skin smooth and refreshed for a long time after bathing.
