「SPA BALNAGE」Visited
Overlooking the Tateyama Mountain Range and Toyama Bay
📅October 4, 202518:00
After enjoying sightseeing at Unazuki Onsen, I headed to today's accommodation, SPA BALNAGE. I got off at Uozu Station on the local line and took a stroll around the station area. There are many snack bars (almost all the stores adjacent to the street are snack bars), and it seems that it was once a bustling area. I once wanted to live a life where I frequented snack bars, but now I find myself living a life where I'm always in a sauna.
A five-minute walk from Uozu Station brought me to the hotel. The hotel has a very luxurious feel, and it seems that weddings are also held here. After checking in, I headed to my room. I had reserved a room on the top floor, and the large windows offered a panoramic view of Toyama Bay. Although I couldn't enjoy the view much today due to the rain, it would be spectacular on a clear day. Satisfied with the room, I decided to head to the main attraction, the sauna.
SPA BALNAGE became famous as a facility produced by Ms. Mikie Sasano, the daughter of the sacred sauna of Japan, Sauna Shikiji. She utilized the location, which offers a simultaneous view of the Tateyama Mountain Range and Toyama Bay, by creating saunas on both the mountain and sea sides. By switching the locations of the saunas between night and morning, guests can enjoy the views from both sides while in the sauna. Additionally, there are two types of saunas: the

After leaving the sauna, I took a break in the adjoining lounge and decided to have dinner. According to the hotel's guide, they offer a special beef tendon curry set, so I decided to try it. I enjoyed a delicious curry in the lounge on the hotel's first floor. The spices of the curry seeped into my tired body after the sauna. While enjoying the delicious meal, I reflected on the day. I started the day at FUROBAKKA, toured Unazuki Onsen in the afternoon, and spent the night at SPA BALNAGE with a sauna and accommodation. It was another great day.
Returning to my room, I planned for the next day. I was scheduled to move to Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, but there was a facility I really wanted to visit in the morning. It's a sauna facility quietly nestled in a residential area of Toyama City, featuring a unique Pinie Sauna, and the cold plunge bath is fed by natural underground water. The name of the facility is "Sauna Talo Toyama."
Another fantastic sauna awaits me tomorrow. With that excitement, I drifted into a dream.
