Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.

I've visited Gifu and Nagoya numerous times before. Yet no matter how many times I come, there are always more onsen and sauna facilities than I can possibly cover in a single trip. Many of the places I've already discovered are so addictive that I keep returning, which means breaking new ground has been slow going at times. On this journey, however, I was finally able to visit facilities I'd never been to before — places brimming with potential. Join me as I share the story of a Tokai sauna adventure that took me from Gifu to Mie to Nagoya.
