Even in the world of sauna, there exist places known as sacred grounds — destinations that sauna lovers across Japan dream of visiting at least once in their lifetime. This journey begins at Kobe Sauna & Spa, one of Kobe's most revered sites, and continues through Ogaki Sauna, Sauna Shikiji, Fujisan Natural Water SPA Sauna Takanoyu, Suruga Health Land, and Well-Be Sakae — six legendary facilities in total. It is an outrageously spectacular route. When the itinerary was finalized, my entire body trembled with excitement. And a once-in-a-lifetime experience was waiting for me.
